On Fri. Jan 11, 2009 the High Bridge Fire Department held its end of the year drill, this is an informal party held to thank the members for their service as well as anyone else that has helped the dept. through out the year. This year we also said goodbye to Rich Heycock, Rich has been a member of the dept. for 22 yrs and is retiring to Virginia with his wife RoseAnn. The members of the department would like to wish Rich and his wife good luck. This drill is put together mostly by members of the dept. with the exception of the food for this we have to thank Sandy Banks, Pam Smith and Tammy Stephens who prepared all the food. During this night members are given awards for exceptional service as well as years of service.  We also can’t forget Ken Z and Bob Stagg for cooking the ribs.
